I share with this character the first few letters of my name, but till I see the movie, I’m not sure what other things I might share with. This movie – My name is Khan – has grasped the attention of many people here. Everyone seems to be talking about it, even people who doesn’t like Indian movies and wouldn’t want to go to one, they seem to be so much interested and not regretting that they saw it. I’ve not seen it yet, but I difinetely will.
It’s rated – so far – 7 out of ten on IMDb which is not easy for foreign movies I guess. The story is about: “Rizwan Khan, a Muslim from the Borivali section of Mumbai, suffers from Asperger’s syndrome, a form of high-functioning autism that complicates socialization. The adult Rizwan marries a hindu single mother, Mandira, in San Francisco. After 9/11, Riswan is detailed by authorities in LAX who mistake his disability for suspicious behavior. Following his arrest, he meets Radha, a therapist who helps him deal with his situation and his affliction. Rizwan then begins a journey to meet US President Obama to clear his name.” – IMDb.
