qadsiyya 2

I’ve promised my kids to get them Qadsiyya soccer kit, so it was only yesterday that I managed myself to take them to Hawalli to one of the sports shop opposite to Almuhallab mall. The shops there did not look nice at all, even the displayed t-shirts were really

Manchester OR Chelsea?

April 18, 2010
manu.jpg chelsea.png

So there we go, the English Premier League is getting really heated up towards its end, and raced mainly by Manchester United and Chelsea specially after Arsenal’s shocking defeat today to Wigan. It’s only one point with Chelsea being ahead and three remaining games at hand for each one. So the deal is that, technically, if Manchester united wins every game and Chelsea slips any one by either a draw or defeat then, the title is United’s, other than that, whether Manchester wins or slips at any game while Chelsea wins all of them, then the title is theirs. It’s little complicated, unpredictable, challenging, exciting, and everything that you can imagine in a football league, specially if we know that in case Man Utd wins it this season, then it’s going to be a remarkable 4 consecutive seasons any English club have ever won the title. All the best to Man Utd!

Little archery field..

There you go, little Archery field in Discovery mall. But to be frank, it wasn’t that impressive. If I were the owner, I’d have done a really good job to make it look so impressive by having a bigger area with more professionally-looked staff, in addition to the necessary decoration.

Unforgettable night..

March 14, 2010

The commentator said that everyone would remember where he or she was at this night, and he’s totally right, I still really remember this night and where I was. Two goals in 2 mins of the added time at the final of the Champion league.

This is the MAN !

Wyen Rooney

The star of today, the legend of future, Wayne Rooney

I can’t but write on this striker who kept surprising all Manchester Utd fans, and probably others too, from one game to another with his outstanding performance and unmatched contribution to the team specially after yesterday’s 4-0 win over AC Milan. This is just to hail him, and wish that he even perform better to be #1 football striker in the world.

The mystery of Michael Phelps’ missing father

During Michael Phelps‘ races, camera shots of his mother Debbie were a fixture on NBC. The network showed endless replays of her falling to her seat after that memorable 100 butterfly finish. She even watched one race on camera with Cris Collinsworth, squeezing his knee the entire time. And after her son won his eighth gold medal, Debbie was all over NBC getting interviewed by Bob Costas, Matt Lauer and Meredith Viera. Michael’s sisters, Hilary and Whitney were also in Beijing cheering on their little brother. All this coverage of the Phelps family led to one obvious question from our readers: Where was Dad?

It’s been well-documented that Debbie and Fred Phelps divorced when Michael was 9. Beyond that, little else has been publicized about Michael Phelps’ father. Enter: Fourth-Place Medal’s Investigative Unit. Today the FPMIU looks into the mystery of the whereabouts of … [The Story]
