Going to the restaurant without a shoe

Chanel Burger?
April 29, 2010
Are Chanel starting a diversified business model? Or simply following Armani to have their own cafe too? It’s actually not. From what I’ve been reading around, it’s simply a McDonald’s concept to give their products a taste of makeover in a fashion week or so. Whether this has taken place or not, that was what I couldn’t find.
For how long you can save your food?
April 3, 2010
How long can a bottle of ketchup stay in your fridge before it goes bad? I’m thinking 1-2 years, but if you want an expert opinion, check a website called StillTasty. This site lists all kind of foods and how to keep them fresh longer as well as when to get rid of them. If you have a question click on the particular picture, and a whole list of stuff appears.
For those who look for organic food
April 1, 2010Probably not the first in Kuwait but from the pictures below, this organic restaurant (Al-R7aa) looks really tasty and appetizing. They also serve desserts and fresh juices. It’s located somewhere in the premises of Al-Qadsiya Coop.

The Nut Tree
March 12, 2010
I’m sure many people knows this by now, but I just knew it few months back. I had little dry fruits this evening from The Nut Tree shop at Baitak tower in the city. This cool place have really cool tasty stuff like the dried strawberry, pineapple, kiwi, and many other stuff dipped with chocolate. The nice thing also about this place is that they can do you a mixture box like the one below (costing KD23) that you can send over to friend or a colleague (deliver is free for orders above KD20). The prices are relatively reasonable mostly in the range of 450 to 600 fils per 100g; except for the strawberry which costs around KD1.175 per 100g!
Soon in the Avenues
September 16, 2008Just got this email saying that the British stylish cafe Napket will open soon in Kuwait in the Avenues II. Sounds good.
Cheesecake Factory
August 21, 2008I’ve tried the original cheesecake at the cheesecake factory only once when I visited the states first time in my life back in March 2008; it’s unbelievably delicious. I do not really know why it’s still not yet brought here in Kuwait?? (I heard they open in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh!!)
