Woppsssss!! who’s driving it?

I am pretty sure that these pictures of the 900,000 pounds super-saloon Bugatti Galibier were seen before, but frankly speaking, I can’t resist looking at them every now and then, so finally I decided to blog them. The car has been shown in Geneva car show as a concept, but will be in production in 2012. The 8-liter 16 cylinder engine is the same as its couple model Veyron, but with lesser horsepower down to 800bhp.

What was the designer thinking about when he came up with this? There must be some people who would probably like it though!

In previous post, I mentioned how crazy young people here in the Gulf region are (specially in Kuwait!) when it comes to the way they drive their vehicles. Today, in the newspapers, the death tool in the first half of the year in Kuwait due to car accidents reached 208 dead people (little more than one person a day as an average)!!! True some of them are just pure accidents (e.g. exploded tyres, got hit by another car, etc.), but I guess the majority are because of driving frivolously. It’s as they call it, street war!
I know there are many rich people spending their money on ridiculous and useless stuff (I do not mean they spend it only on ridiculous and useless things though!), but when it comes to this, considering kids, women, and elderly people who are starving and not finding their medicines down there in African villages, it’s just insane!
The rest of the photos are in available here.
Some young men here in the Gulf States are really maniacs. Car accidents are one of the biggest reasons of death for the young generation. This deadly SLR accident in Qatar is one of the most explicit examples on that. Drive safely and get back to your family unharmed.
