The trip route

Inshalla on Friday I’ll be travelling with couple of guys to Europe. The route will be the following:

1) Fri/Sat: Going to Frankfurt on Kuwait Airways (God help!!) and staying in for 2 nights

2) Sun/Mon: Then going to Paris by train and staying for 1 night

3) Mon/Fri: Then going to London by Eurostar and staying for 4 nights.

Never wear a wig while you are boxing!

A 26-year-old Chinese man Zhuang Huagui has married his dead girlfriend Hu Zhao, 21, who was murdered 8 days ago. The couple originally planned to get married on February 4, but on January 28, one week before their wedding, the girl was stabbed to death by

Even less needed cash in the pocket! A company called Square, had developed a little tiny dongle that converts the iPhone into a payment gateway! Yes, the merchant can use it like a K-net machine. It’s so simple that can be inserted into the audio jack, then start swiping the credit cards and enjoy purchasing. It’s open now for the public to try it.

Pay your fuel by your Civil ID !!

Another amazing story here in Kuwait that confirms the government is somehow moving in the right direction as far as the technology is concerned. Yesterday, the Director General of the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) announced in a press release that the the holders of the new smart Civil ID card will be able to use it to pay when they fuel their cars at gas stations. This has been in collaboration with AlـSoor Fuel Marketing Company and the service will start I think on the national day; 25th Feb.

The issuance of the new card is limited now to the citizens who have their current ID expired, but the plan is to replace everyone’s IDs before the end of this year. As a matter of fact, they don’t mind if anyone wishes to replace his or her ID before it’s expired.

I’ve already managed to change mine and the family, where we used them to travel to Dubai few weeks ago.
